Detailed description of Olde Mill Resort
Olde Mill Resort is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Laurel Fork, Virginia.
The Olde Mill Resort golf course opened in 1972. The course was designed by Ellis Maples. The course was recently updated by Ellis's son, Dan Maples with grandson Brad Maples. This was the first joint project for the father and son team of Dan and Brad Maples
Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of southwestern Virginia, just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway lies Olde Mill, is a master planned mountain community. The Olde Mill community sits on 850 acres of gently rolling hills and scenic valleys centered around the championship 18 hole golf course and 54 acre lake.
At the heart of the community is an Ellis Maples designed golf course.

Im a female golfer,we get together couples for a 2 to 3 day stay.It is a beautiful well maintained course we have going for years.The resturant is great and full breakfast. A breathtaking veiw from alot of the holes.

We stopped on the way up I-77 from a trip in the south. This course is set just in Virginia in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and it is a very beautiful course. But, it is also very tough. It is particularly nasty in spots if you have no previous course knowledge, especially on #9 (be sure you are on or over the green...my playing partner and I combined for 11 strokes to get on and stay on the green from within 70 yards). Despite the beating I took, though, the course was pleasing to behold, especially the front where most holes are secluded.
